Tanso Co-Founders featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2025 list

Tanso co-founders Gyri Reiersen and Lorenz Hetzel have been included in this year’s Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list – in the “Manufacturing & Industry” category.
Each year, the list highlights individuals under 30 who stand out in their field through innovation, entrepreneurship, and societal impact. The “Manufacturing & Industry” category features those who are developing new products, processes, and technologies that are set to transform the industrial sector sustainably.
Together with Till Wiechmann, Gyri Reiersen and Lorenz Hetzel founded Tanso to support mid-sized industrial companies in their decarbonization efforts. Tanso’s software enables companies to meet regulatory requirements and drive strategic climate action through carbon accounting and ESG data management.
The TÜV-certified, audit-compliant platform integrates key use cases such as Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF), Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), CSRD reporting, EU taxonomy, and CBAM into a single system. In addition, Tanso supports reporting in line with VSME and is GRI-certified.
By ensuring high data standards, automated workflows, and seamless collaboration across departments and sites, Tanso helps industrial companies save time, ensure compliance, and create synergies across sustainability modules. The platform enables structured data collection, accurate emissions calculations, and targeted improvement of sustainability metrics—powered by AI-supported data management and intelligent recommendations.
Initial carbon footprints, including hotspot analyses, can be generated in less than eight weeks—significantly faster than with traditional methods. In total, automation and intelligent data processing can reduce time spent by up to 80% compared to manual processes.
